Doctorate degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, PUC / SP, Sorocaba campus (1981), Medical residency in Endocrinology (PUC / SP, Sorocaba campus), Master's degree (1991) and PhD (1996) in Clinical Endocrinology, both from the University Federal of Sao Paulo. Post-doctorate at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Unicamp in 2016, in the area of concentration in Health Education. She is a full professor at the Department of Medicine, Endocrinology area, at the Faculty of Medical Sciences and Health of Sorocaba - PUC / SP. Has experience and expertise in the following topics: growth hormone, Turner syndrome, metabolic syndrome, diabetes mellitus, medical education and health professions. In addition to activities in medical undergraduate, since 2011 teaches the discipline of Scientific Research Methodology applied to Health Education in the Postgraduate Studies Program - Professional Master - Education in Health Professions of PUCSP. She also has a lato sensu specialization in Education in Health Professions (Federal University of Ceará), an area in which she has been working since 2001, when she held the position of director of the Faculty of Medical Sciences and later as coordinator of the medical school. She was coordinator of the implementation of the pedagogical project of the Sorocaba Medical School (PUC / SP) and coordinated and developed the project activities selected by the Ministries of Health, Education and PAHO, such as PROMED, PRO-HEALTH I and PET-HEALTH. (2009, 2010 and 2011). Since 2007, she has participated in the activities of the FAIMER-Brazil Regional Institute (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research), as a student in 2007 and 2008 and, subsequently, as a teacher. Since 2017, she is coordinator of the PUCSP Medical School.
